   Hi Sunshine. I have been distracted with a capital D. I finally found my 'dream house' to buy, but now the tough part of trying to make it come together. Today is my son's 8th birthday. I am taking cupcakes up to this class later and this evening we will take him out to eat at Steak and Shake. He loves it there because they give kids paper cars to assemble. LOL. It is sunny and warm here - about 70 degrees. Perfect weather.

   Hello there Sunshine. Happy Monday. How are you? Yesterday we went shopping in St. Augustine, Florida. What fun! ~ I was spoiled majorly by my hubby. Most spending is for my kids, so once in awhile it is nice to feel special, too. Thinking of you. That pancake house sounded delicious. It has been awhile since I have been to one of those. I know the pancakes are to die for. Yummy. Yes, weather is good - about 72 and cloudy. It might rain later. Plus, a breeze. No complaints. Have a great evening.

    We're just back ..went to brunch @ a great pancake house..They have an amazing apple pancake..we ordered it for JJ! lol..it was so good! more like desert! love that place..U can get any type of fresh fruit pancacke ..& awsome syrups..like blackberry, rasberry. Plum, fig! Omlets are served right in the skillet!
    have a great Sunday...making orange chicken for dinner & gettig JJ's costume together
    just adjusting it so Superman dosen't fall ...lolol..Abby is a pretty bunny & yes! the dogs are little long witches w/black hats..what a sight we will be!! *) Just picture that..lol

    Hello Sunshine. Happy Thursday. It is sunny and bright here - going to 85 degrees F. today. So warm for late October. I like it.
    The H1N1 flu is scary stuff. Did you get the standard flu shot yet for you and all your family? If not, do it ASAP. Supposedly, the standard flu shot helps build immunity against the H1N1 as it is also an H1 series shot. Here it is advised you get the standard and then later the H1N1 shot. And those cute kids of yours - the baby might be too small as shots are for 6 months and up. But, your son and the rest of you should all get shots. I did yesterday with my teenager and plan to get my 7, 5, and 3 year old general flu shots next Wednesday. My hubby gets his at work.
    I hope neither your family or mine comes down with it. Thinking of you.

    We all got the flu shot except Abby..but she won't be around large crouds like preschool...or playgroups..it it the young ones up to 24yrs that are not immune! wonder why?
    so a few peeps have actually died from it here Yipes!
    Have a ton of hand sanitizer..won't bring the kids to the grocery store anymore this year..but they say it will last til next yr! wow!

    Happy Wednesday Sunshine. This week is just flying by. How are you? It is bright and suuny here and is expected to get back to the low 80s F. by afternoon. Hard to imagine in late October. Mornings are still crisp and cool though. The house we toured in the country is nice - we plan to write an offer to buy it tomorrow. Wait and see what happens next now. Have a great day ! ~~

    We are good..have another cold...just so many young people have died from the h1ni flu here mostly up to 24 yrs old.
    so i'm washing my hands so often now...and cleaning the doornobs, cell phones, keyboards, kids toys! just have whiped down everything before going to bed.
    don't know why we got it so bad here..not spreading..isolated cases in the suburbs.
    high schools & grammer schools..so now they're driecting doctors to treat immediately..not even testing people with flu symptoms..
    many schools closed for sanitazion then reopened.
    lol..even washing my cans before opening but mostly use frozen veggies for corn, peas, brocolli, some fresh like fruit & spinach, but they say freezing for 3 days kills the virus.
    so for now..made perch over brown rice w/red pepper, zucinni, onion, ginger..
    it was good. & fresh gala apples w/cinammon

    Hope we can opt for a summer home ...in MI ..it's beautiful by the lake there..but still so
    clean ..tons of peach, apple picking, quaint stores, restaurants, just plain wonderful there..
    next to Maui, it's become my fav. place..*)

    Oh how fun..love the country getaways..even for a day! We went horseback riding...there are trails about 25 mins from Chicago. Great weather ..our trees are such wonderful colors of yellow, orange, red..gotta get out there & take some pictures..we did get to the pumpkin patch..had apple cider..picked out lots of outdoor pumpkins & some gourds to. Think i will make a pumpkin pie or crisp..Delish.com has tons of recipies (= have a great week *)
